Donna Loren in a rare '80's performance singing "Somewhere Down the Road" on the Merv Griffin Show that taired 6/26/84. The song was written by Cynthia Weil and Tom Snow and produced by Donna and Nick DeCaro. This is one of only three performances Donna did in the 80s. In 1985 she performed "Hard to Believe" in Tokyo at an International Ballroom Dancing event and shortly after that she shared the bill with Jerry Lee Lewis at a theater in Beverly Hills. Two singles were released during this time period: "Somewhere Down the Road" b/w "Wishin and Hopin" on Warner Bros (1982) and "Sedona" b/w "Simply Loving You" on Donna's own Royalty label (1982). These songs plus seven more previously unreleased tracks are part of a new compilation CD of Donna's 1980s music entitled MAGIC - The 80s Collection. The CD was released in August 2009 and is now available for purchase or download at: www.donnaloren.net. Ms Loren's fans will be excited to learn that she is in the studio again making new music.
