Loch Leven Heritage Trail, Kinross, Scotland, gives access to an open-air museum with castles to explore, artwork to admire and heritage material that explains the cultural, sporting and natural history of the area. There are also three bird hides and two biology ponds, making the trail a perfect destination for visiting school parties. With the help of Lottery funding, the project was conceived and directed by TRACKS (The Rural Access Committee of Kinross-shire), a charity that aims to provide walking and cycling paths throughout the area.
