More than RM200mil was channelled to state governments to support recent flood rescue operations, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking during Prime Minister’s Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Feb 25), Anwar said the funds were disbursed through the National Disaster Management Agency to all affected states, including Sabah and Sarawak.
Regarding the three-phase Sungai Golok project, Anwar stated that the work would be carried out simultaneously rather than in separate phases.
