Kedah Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, was acquitted and discharged (DNA) by the Shah Alam High Court on Monday (Feb 24), regarding a sedition case involving remarks about the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, made during a political speech in July two years ago.
Judge Datuk Aslam Zainuddin made the decision following the prosecution's announcement that they did not intend to proceed with the case against Sanusi.
