Taiwan's defense ministry says 28 Chinese military aircraft and seven naval vessel operated near Taiwan over a 24-hour period ending Tuesday morning. The military says 25 of the aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait's median line and entered the island's northern and southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone, or ADIZ.
