More than 100 Asean policymakers, researchers, and creatives convened at the Asean-UK Symposium on the Development of the Asean Creative Economy Sustainability Framework to advance the region’s cultural and creative industries while promoting sustainable growth within the Asean Creative Economy (ACE).
Opening the symposium on Thursday (Feb 20), Deputy Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister Khairul Firdaus Akhbar Khan emphasised the creative economy’s role as a catalyst for innovation, fostering cultural exchange and driving sustainable development.
