Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in Dublin to meet with Irish counterpart Simon Harris and prime minister Micheal Martin. Functioning as many Chinese companies’ European HQ, Ireland is one of the only European countries to have a trade surplus with China, of almost $13bn in 2024.
