President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received several heads of delegations participating in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) at Expo City Dubai.
His Highness the President individually welcomed Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan and Isaac Herzog, President of Israel. His Highness discussed with them the bilateral relations between the UAE and their respective countries, exploring ways to enhance ties in various fields. Additionally, they addressed several issues of mutual regional and international interest.
The meetings also reviewed issues, activities, and initiatives presented during COP28, highlighting the importance of the conference in building effective global consensus to counter the threat of climate change. The leaders noted that COP28 offers a significant opportunity for the world to strengthen international climate action for the benefit of humanity.
