Pinki Devi, 38, lost her life in the stampede. Her family members claim that there was no security or administrative arrangements at the time of the incident. Thirteen family members, including Pinky Devi, had left home to attend the Maha Kumbh. One family member, who stayed behind, said they received a call at 8:30 PM and were rushed to LNJP Hospital. Six family members were caught in the stampede at the railway station. The cremation is underway. Pinky Devi had two children—one son and one daughter.
