Taiwan's defense ministry says 32 Chinese military aircraft, eight naval vessels and one official ship operated near Taiwan over a 24-hour period ending Tuesday morning. It says 22 of the aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait's median line and entered the island's northern and southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone.
