Chief Russell Vought instructed CFPB employees to cease all supervision and examination activity. The bureau's headquarters will be closed from February 10th through the 14th, with employees working remotely. Elon Musk, who oversees the Department of Government Efficiency, signaled support by posting “CFPB RIP” on X.
