Train passengers are facing six weeks of travel disruptions due to engineering works. East coast main line services between Newcastle and Northallerton in Yorkshire, are being diverted which will result in longer journeys or bus replacements for passengers. There’ll also be no trains to or from Darlington or Durham over the affected weekends, network rail have said.
