Excitement builds as fans arrive at New Orleans Superdome for Super Bowl LIX
Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles began arriving at the Superdome on Sunday, February 9, as their sides prepare to do battle in Super Bowl LIX.
The Chiefs are chasing history with an unprecedented Super Bowl "three-peat" on the line when they step into the Superdome, facing an Eagles team determined to deny them the dynasty-building win.
The Chiefs clipped the Eagles' wings two years ago, overcoming a 10-point halftime deficit to win the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 57, and believe they have the right formula again led by golden-armed, twice-MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
