A seven-year-old boy was locked in a toilet, forced to drink water from there, and given only small portions of bread or rice daily.
The boy’s father, R. Thayalan, 39, and his girlfriend, K. Mageswari, 41, were fined a total of RM17,000 and sentenced to 440 hours of community service after pleading guilty to an alternative charge before Sessions Court Judge Thalha Bachok @ Embok Mok in Johor Baru on Tuesday (Feb 4).
