Rachel Anne Daquis returns to court
Veteran spiker Rachel Anne Daquis returned to court for the first time after 551 days.
The 37-year-old gunner, after a much-needed break, returned to the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) with the young Farm Fresh team, saying that she felt she had nothing to prove.
Following a one-point debut against Galeries, Daquis expressed her intention to guide the team, emphasizing that she would not pressure herself to replicate her past dominance.
Farm Fresh prevailed over Galeries via a 28-26, 25-17, 19-25, 25-17 win.
The Foxies will gear up for their next match against the tough PLDT squad on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
