Peter Dutton has committed a future Coalition government to supporting ‘in principle’ the Northern Territory government's list of seven key requests to address crime in Alice Springs. The Northern Territory government says the Albanese government has so far only responded to one of the seven requests, enabling greater use of drones by police. The Prime Minister's office has been contacted for comment.
