These are two Tu-160 strategic bombers flying over the neutral waters of the Arctic Ocean, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry. The flight lasted over 11 hours. Russia says its long-range aviation crews regularly patrol neutral waters over the Arctic, North Atlantic, Pacific, Black, and Baltic Seas. Moscow insists all flights follow international airspace regulations.
