TV’s Dancing On Ice pro-dance skating sensation Mark Hanretty today told of his excitement to be returning to his second home – Sheffield – as the official ambassador for the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2026.
He was announcing tickets are now on sale for the six day spectacular when the best of Europe’s figure skating talent glide in to the Utilita Arena Sheffield next January 13-18, just a month before the Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina.
Mark told us : “I couldn’t be more excited to be the ambassador for the ISU European Figure Skating Championships Sheffield 2026. I’ve devoted my life to ice skating and a huge chunk of that has been spent training, coaching and choreographing in Sheffield making this a huge moment to celebrate my love and passion for the sport and see the next generation of athletes succeed!”
