Remembering Kobe Bryant five years after his death
Sunday, January 26, marks the five-year anniversary of the death of basketball great, Kobe Bryant.
Bryant, one of the NBA's all-time greatest players and an athlete of global renown, died aged 41 in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles, along with his 13-year-old daughter in 2020.
Bryant rocketed to fame as an 18-year-old rookie and played with the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years, 18 as an all-star forward, and won five NBA championships.
Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other people died in the crash in Calabasas, California on Jan. 26, 2020.
Kobe Bryant was 41 when he died.
