Netflix announced price increases for most of its U.S. subscription plans. Its standard ad-free plan will rise to $17.99 per month, and its ad-supported plan will increase to $7.99. The premium plan will rise to $24.99. The price hikes come after the streaming giant reported strong fourth-quarter results. Netflix increased the cost of its standard plan without ads in 2022 and its premium plan in 2023 while discontinuing its cheapest basic ad-free option that same year. Netflix has raised the price for its ad-supported plan for the first time since its launch in 2022.
