Coming in hot while moving on snow can be a recipe for disaster, as this video hilariously demonstrates.
"I took this video during a hill climb contest," the filmer, Arne, told WooGlobe. "This is a tuned snowmobile with almost 600 hp. The rider didn’t ease off the throttle at all, because he was in it to win it! The result? A 97 kg Norwegian Viking was thrown off in a spectacular crash! Fortunately, he walked away on his own. The sled, however, was not so lucky—it was broken!"
This serves as a reminder that focusing too much on victory can sometimes lead to unintended—and gnarly—consequences.
