Air Force Officer Killed in Fighter Inspection Incident in Taichung

Taiwan's Air Force Command says an officer has died following an incident at Ching Chuan Kang Air Base in Taichung. Local media reports the man, surnamed Hu, was performing an inspection on a jet fighter when he was sucked into an engine.
