On Monday marks 22 days since the State of Emergency was declared in Trinidad and Tobago, with police reporting significant reductions in violent crimes and murders.
At a media briefing held at the Police Administration Building in Port of Spain, Deputy Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin announced that as of this morning, there had been 18 murders in 2025.
