A spokesperson cited a tech outage linked to a third-party vendor, which attributed the disruption to a power outage at a data center. Over 2,000 complaints were logged on Downdetector, with reports persisting throughout the day. The outage follows a separate Citibank access problem earlier this week and comes amid a recent CFPB lawsuit against Capital One over alleged misleading practices, which the bank denies.
