Hamas' acting Gaza chief Khalil al-Hayya said in a televised address on Wednesday (Jan 15) that Israel failed to achieve its goals in Gaza, shortly after a ceasefire deal was announced.
He also praised the Palestinians for remaining steadfast in their land and acknowledged those who have been providing critical support during a time of immense hardship.
