Amaravati- Tourism is a close subject for some people. In particular, seven teachers from Nepal who work in the same school have come to India on the occasion of the Kumbh Mela. They will be participating in the Kumbh Mela organized in Prayagraj after enjoying tourism from Kolkata to the sea of Visakhapatnam in South India, Charminar in Hyderabad, Verul Caves in Maharashtra and Khajuraho Caves in Madhya Pradesh. Some are 78 years old, while others have reached 75. Two or three are between the ages of 70 and 71, while one retired last year. This is the second consecutive year that these elderly teachers are participating in the Kumbh Mela in India and enjoying their tour of India. This is a special report by "ETV Bharat" regarding the delightful journey of these retired Nepali teachers who came to India with fun and frolic like school students. Six people retired from a single school: Gadadhar Kaple, who retired 15 years ago from Tribhuvan Secondary School in Buddhashanti village in Jhapa district of Koshi province of Nepal, Basant Kumar Timsena, who retired 12 years ago, along with Madhav Prasad Adhikari, Leelaprasad Satyapal, Dhruvlal Regami, Narendra Kumar Baral and Prem Prasad Salkota, have come to India. These seven teachers were friends in school too, and are now enjoying their post-retirement life together after retirement. Although Prayagraj is close from Nepal, we wanted to see some places in India. That is why our journey started from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. There is no sea in our Nepal, so we have never seen a ship. Basantkumar Timsena, while talking to "ETV Bharat", expressed his joy at seeing a ship in the sea for the first time in Visakhapatnam. In Visakhapatnam, we saw a region rich in nature, religious places and we were also happy that we suddenly reached the ashram of Meher Baba, whom I believe in. We came to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam. We had heard about the Charminar in Hyderabad since childhood. We actually saw the Charminar and then we saw the magnificent Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. After that, we came to Aurangabad and saw the caves of Ajanta and Verul. Basantkumar Timsena expressed that we were amazed by the artworks of thousands of years ago and the engineering science of that time. We are now going to see the caves at Khajuraho. After seeing the artworks at Khajuraho, we will go to the Kumbh Mela by Tuesday evening. We will take a bath at the Kumbh Mela. We want to see the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. After having darshan of Shri Ram in Ayodhya, we will return to our village in Nepal, said Basantkumar Timsena. This team of retired teachers had also come to the Simhastha Kumbh Mela held in Nashik twelve years ago. At that time, five retired teachers were with us instead of seven. Now, two more have joined this team after retiring in the last twelve years. Since we have retired and are old, we give importance to traveling rather than sitting at home and traveling in India is very pleasant for us, Gajadhar Kafla told "ETV Bharat". Out of the seven retired teachers from Nepal who came to India on the occasion of the Kumbh Mela, Gajadhar Kafla has visited America twice and Basantkumar Timsena has also visited Dubai twice. Gajadhar Kafla says that I have visited America twice because my son is living in America. Basantkumar Timsena said that I have visited Dubai because my son is in Dubai. All seven retired teachers say that they would rather enjoy traveling than staying alone at home. These retired teachers also expressed the feeling that they like traveling in India because our religion, culture, and language are all similar to India.
