Tesla is recalling approximately 239,000 vehicles in the U.S. to address a potential rearview camera failure, according to filings on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website. Tesla attributed the issue to circuit board stress or failure and released a free over-the-air software update to address some vehicles. Customers experiencing the issue can also have their vehicle computers replaced at no cost. Tesla reported over 800 warranty claims and field reports related to the defect but no accidents or injuries. The recall follows a series of actions 2024 that impacted over 5 million vehicles, including the Cybertruck.
