Celtic Connections is back for 2025, launching across Glasgow on Thursday 16 January.

The city will host the best roots, world and folk music for its 32nd edition and is expected to welcome over 100,000 attendees across 18 days.

This year’s festival will begin with an opening concert that celebrates 850 years of Glasgow with a secret lineup, and from there a myriad of performances will take place showcasing artists from Scotland and beyond.

A new Under 26 Community scheme has launched this year which gives younger fans access to discounts.

The Emirates Arena will also be piloted as a music venue, hosting the Isle of Lewis trio Peat and Diesel.

2025 will also mark the beginning of a new five year headline partnership between Celtic Connections and Innis & Gunn.

To celebrate this, Scottish trad band Gnoss performed a live gig on an open top bus that travelled through the city ahead of their gig at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 1 February, which was organised by the brewery.
