Sri Muktsar Sahib: Gurdwara Datansar Sahib, built on the holy land of 40 Muktas, is the place where the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, used to come to Datan Sahib from Maharaj Tibbi Sahib and perform Datan and Kurla. This is the same place where after the end of the Battle of Khidrana, Noor Din sent by Wazir Khan stabbed Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the back. At that time, Guru Ji defended himself and the words he said for Noor Din are still being fulfilled today. What is history? When the tenth king, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, was performing the ritual, Noor Din was hiding in the bushes. Noor Din came in the disguise of a Sikh. Seeing the opportunity, Noor Din attacked the tenth king, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj on the back, and the 10th king, Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj, stopping his attack, attacked Noor Din with a mortar and said - you will only eat your shoes, attacking behind your back in disguise is not the work of a hero. He fell at the feet of the Guru, feeling sorry for him, and said, "Your Majesty, forgive me." Then, Guru Gobind Singh said, "You will always eat shoes." After that, when the offering was complete, the Guru returned to this place and cut it into two pieces, where this Gurdwara Datansar Sahib is adorned. Wherever the vows are made for Noordeen, his grave is built there, where devotees come and rub Noordeen's shoes. Five pairs of shoes being worn by the devotees Kuldeep Singh, the granthi of Gurdwara Datansar Sahib, informed about the history. He also said that there is a tomb of Nooruddin Shah here, where the congregation, which comes from far away, also beats 5 shoes each. Kuldeep Singh, Granthi of Gurdwara Datansar Sahib, said that like every year, this year the annual Maghi Mela will be organized in the memory of the 40 Muktas. Like every time, this time too, the Sangat is appealed to reach here and receive the blessings of the Guru Ghar. All kinds of arrangements have been made for the Sangat.
