Lohri 2025: नए साल की शुरुआत के बाद सबसे पहला त्यौहार लोहड़ी का मनाया जाता है. इस त्योहार को पंजाबी समुदाय प्रमुखता से मनाता है. पंजाब में लोहड़ी की खूब धूम देखने को मिलती है. लोहड़ी अच्छी फसल और खुशहाली के प्रतीक के रूप में मनाई जाती है. लोहड़ी का त्योहार पूरे हर्षौल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है. लोहड़ी मकर संक्रांति के एक दिन पहले मनाई जाती है.इस साल मकर संक्रांति 14 जनवरी को है. ऐसे में लोहड़ी की धूम 13 जनवरी को नजर आएगी. लोहड़ी पर शाम के समय लोग रंग बिरंगी पोशाक पहनते हैं. इस दिन शाम के समय लकड़ियों का ढेर एकत्र करके उसमें सूखे उपले रखकर आग जलाई जाती है. फिर लोहड़ी की अग्नि की परिक्रमा की जाती है. इस अग्नि में तिल, गुड़ और मूंगफली आदि का प्रसाद अर्पित किया जाता है. महिलाएं लोक गीत गाती हैं. सभी लोग नाचते हैं.
