He pretended to have fallen down the stairs and lay motionless on the floor, hoping to trick her into thinking something was wrong.
As his daughter entered the house and saw him lying there, she immediately became anxious, thinking something terrible had happened.
She began to cry, feeling scared and helpless.
Seeing her distress, Mark quickly stood up and reassured her that it was just a prank.
