The Planning Minister - who is also the MP for Arima - says an increased presence of the Police Service and the Defence Force in Blanchisseuse has resulted in almost 20 months with no murders in the fishing community.
Minister Pennelope Beckles was speaking during the inaugural opening of the NCRHA's, Disaster Response Site – NCD Prevention & Retreat Centre in Blanchisseuse on Friday.
