A very cold start with a widespread frost, and icy stretches particularly where we have seen showers overnight. Those showers continuing to give snow accumulations across northern Scotland. Widely below freezing, and down to minus double digits where we have snow cover. Freezing fog patches slowly clearing but persisting in places, particularly in Northern Ireland, Wales and the Midlands.
