U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has appealed to the Supreme Court to halt sentencing in his hush money case, with less than two weeks before his inauguration. Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records about hush money payments to an adult film star ahead of the 2016 election.
