A £500,000 home in Loughborough has been destroyed by floods for the second time in a year, just days after finishing repairs from last year’s deluge.
Jacob Davidge, 28, woke on January 7 to find his home flooded again, causing extensive damage to the ground floor.
Despite completing renovations in December 2024, including a re-tiled kitchen, Jacob faces another long recovery.
The family, now without clean water, have filed an insurance claim but face an uncertain future.
