Rain continuing across Wales and the Midlands up into northern England, accompanied by strong winds, with yellow warnings for heavy rain and strong winds. The rain pushing northwards for a time into the south of Northern Ireland and southern Scotland overnight whilst southern parts of Wales and the Midlands see some drier spells developing. Drier but with strong winds across southern areas of England. Strongs winds and rain also affecting the far north of Scotland, with the rain turning to snow over the high ground and increasingly wintry showers affecting Shetland.
