This video captures the heartwarming moment Alanna helped fill a missing piece in her dad's life.
"My dad had a dog named Tara for 16 years," Alanna told WooGlobe. "He took her everywhere. They were best friends, and when she passed away early last year, he was heartbroken and lost.
"Recently, he started talking about getting a puppy, so I surprised him with one. Now he has a best friend again!"
At first, he doubts whether the adorable puppy is actually his, but Alanna eventually convinces him that it is.
