Sit back and enjoy some stunning scenes of Tenby taken throughout December by members of our very own ‘Picture This’ photography club.
The club is a Facebook group with well over 1,000 members - but it’s left to a handful of talented contributors to keep up the supply of inspiring images. Among the photographers are top contributors Lucy Crockford, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick and David Bolton, Joseph Thomas, Phill Lees-Griffith, Rob Jones and Quentin Elston.
Between them they’ve captured the view in all states of light, helped us celebrate Christmas and take note of local happenings.
Ruth Ashworth gets a special mention for including a photograph that was not taken in Tenby. Her shot of Carew Castle, with almost a halo of light around it, is a reminder that photographs of all parts of Pembrokeshire and West Carmarthenshire are most welcome.
It’s easy (especially for Tenby residents) to forget that the Tenby Observer, which incorporates the Narberth & Whitland Observer and Pembroke & Pembroke Dock Observer, covers a wide area including resorts like Saundersfoot, Freshwater East and Laugharne, villages like Kilgetty, St Florence and Carew, and even outliers including Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Newgale and St Davids.
So in the new year, 2025, we’re hoping to see some of your best shots as you travel around our beautiful county.
