Russia has detained a 29-year-old Uzbek national suspected of carrying out the assassination of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, chief of Russia's Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops.
The suspect allegedly confessed to planting and detonating a bomb hidden in an electric scooter outside Kirillov's apartment building in Moscow.
