Just hours before her finals, Pepperdine student Olivia found herself facing the terrifying Franklin Fire as it targeted her campus. This video captures her experience during the ordeal.
Olivia was woken up at around 12:50 AM and instructed to head to the library along with other students. From there, they watched the apocalyptic scene unfold through the windows.
By morning, the courageous efforts of firefighters brought the situation under control, and the students were permitted to leave the library. On her way back to the dorm, Olivia recorded the damage left behind by the relentless blaze overnight.
