President-elect Donald Trump appointed David Sacks, former PayPal operating chief, and current podcaster, as his lead policy adviser on artificial intelligence and crypto. Sacks, who will serve as the "White House A.I. & Crypto Czar," is tasked with creating a legal framework to support the crypto industry’s growth in the U.S. He will also work to protect online speech and combat what Trump called Big Tech bias. Sacks is known for co-founding Yammer and Craft Ventures. He supported Trump’s campaign by raising $12 million at a fundraiser.
