A chilling moment was caught on camera as a shark attempted to bite a diver’s head in a popular tourist destination.
The dramatic footage, filmed in the Maldives, shows a Chinese female tourist in the water as a large tiger shark approaches her.
The shark briefly clamped its powerful jaws around the woman’s head before she managed to break free. Fortunately, the shark lost interest and swam away.
The woman sustained deep lacerations to the back of her head, requiring 40 stitches.
