A student exchange programme in Leeds has proved the enduring power of friendship, as four pals reunited in the city that brought them together 35 years ago.
In 1989, Karina Arotsky, 54, from New Jersey, met Patricia Doucet, 56, Richard Preterre, 56, and Frantz Manier, 58, who had travelled to the Yorkshire city from France, as part of the former Erasmus programme run by the University of Leeds.
