On November 19, 2024, SpaceX's Starship vehicle embarked on its sixth test flight, and this footage captures its surreal liftoff.
"My husband is a Starship engineer, so we have been fortunate to witness every Starship launch," the filmer, Jalee, shared with WooGlobe. "Flight 6 was scheduled for 4:00 PM (CT) to ensure the vehicle would soft-land in the Indian Ocean during daylight hours."
While not shown in the video, one of the highlights of this historic flight was a stuffed banana serving as the first payload for the trailblazing launch vehicle.
