It’s fair to say that winter is here, for the most part it was a very mild autumn, and now all of a sudden temperatures have dropped below zero, we’re putting the heating back on, scraping car windows, and getting our hats and scarves out.
With locations north and south experiencing snow fall recently, here is what we can expect weather-wise in Glasgow.
It will generally remain dry and clear over the next few days with sunny spells, however, there will be wintry showers in the west coast and this may be pushed inland in some places.
It will also be very cold with maximum temperatures of 4-degrees Celsius and minimum -5-degrees.
When the weekend comes from Saturday 23 November it will turn wet and windy across the city with snow gracing mountaintops.
Next week is set to be more tumultuous weather-wise, with very strong winds starting Sunday 24 November and carrying through.
While the temperature will be mild, the winds will make it feel colder.
