Violence continued to rock several parts of Manipur on November 16-17 following recovery of bodies of six people who were allegedly kidnapped by militants from Jiribam. As violence escalated, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reviewed the situation. Meanwhile, the National People’s Party (NPP) has withdrawn its support from the BJP-led government in Manipur.
