Indigenous protesters sink heads of G20 leaders to demand climate action

Indigenous organizations sank giant cut-outs of the top G20 leader' faces in Botafogo Bay, in Rio de Janeiro, to protest against what they say is global inaction on measure to stop climate change on Saturday, November 16.

Holding banners reading 'We are the answer' the protesters' representatives urged the leaders of the world's biggest economies to listen to them in order to find a way to fight the warming of the planet and cut CO2 emissions.

The demonstrators have also been demanding the legal demarcation of indigenous land in Brazil.
