Watch as a large scaffolding plank falls among pedestrians outside South Station, New England’s busiest transit hub. Surveillance video captured the plank narrowly missing a pedestrian and startling others as it hit the ground near the station.
Authorities confirmed the plank came from scaffolding across the street at One Financial Center, dislodged by strong wind gusts reaching up to 37mph that day. Despite the frightening scene, no injuries were reported.
