Report: President Lai Plans Layover in Hawaii During Pacific Trip

Reuters reports that President Lai Ching-te is planning to stop in the U.S. state of Hawaii and possibly the U.S. territory of Guam during a trip to Taiwan's Pacific allies. The U.S. is not one of Taiwan's official diplomatic allies.
