Volunteer Firefighter Dies During Hornet Nest Removal

A 36-year-old volunteer firefighter has died after being attacked by a hornet swarm while removing a nest in Taoyuan. Although he wore protective clothing, the pests were able to penetrate his suit and stung him several times on the arms.
